Giving

The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving — it's called 'the tithe.' When we give the first 10% of our increase to the Lord, we are putting Him first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude towards God, our faith in Him, a heart surrendered to Him, and our love for others. The Bible gives us permission to test God in only one area – tithing. And His promise for those who do it is blessing!

We give out of obedience to Scripture, we give out of a sense of gratitude, we give cheerfully, and we give with the understanding that God will use temporary, finite resources to build an eternal and infinite Kingdom. So when we give, we do so because we want to make an impact here on earth and we want to make an impact that will last forever.
