Sync Your Bible App Reading Plan

If you forgot to start your reading plan on January 1st using the Bible app, but want to follow along with us and match the daily reading plan calendar here, you can still do that (it just takes a bit more setup). Below are the steps to make sure today’s Bible reading on your app matches the day we are on as a church (because it’s awesome to read through Scripture together).

Follow these steps on the Bible app once installed on your mobile device:

1. Start the Whole Bible Reading Plan here.
2. Open your reading plan in the Bible app, and note that there are day numbers and dates for each reading (this section is focused on correctly syncing these dates).
3. Use this site (here) to determine today’s day number of the year. Scroll through the day numbers in your reading plan until you get to yesterday’s number.
4. Mark all assigned chapters for yesterday as complete, and close any pop-up windows that come after.
5. Go to the “•••” at the top-right of the screen and select “Catch Me Up” and then “Shift Dates Forward“. 
6. You will now see today’s reading listed with the correct date and day number. 

Congrats! You are now reading the same chapters as we are in our daily Bible reading!
